Finite Extensions of ${\mathbb{Z}}_{\max }$

Abstract

We classify the semifields and division semirings containing the max-plus semifield ${\mathbb{Z}}_{\max }$, which are finitely generated as ${\mathbb{Z}}_{\max }$-semimodules.
