Abstract
Let be an algebra and an automorphism of . A linear map of is called a -derivation of if , for all . A linear map is said to be a generalized -derivation of if there exists a -derivation of such that , for all . An additive map of is -centralizing if , for all . In this paper, precise descriptions of generalized -derivations and -centralizing maps of triangular algebras are given. Analogues of the so-called commutative theorems, due to Posner and Mayne, are also proved for the triangular algebra setting.
