arXiv:1311.1813

Abstract

Let be the set of non-negative integers, and let denote the set of all weak compositions of with parts, i.e., . For any element , denote its th-coordinate by , i.e., . Let . Families () are said to be -cross -intersecting if for all . Suppose that . We prove that there exists a constant depending only on 's and , such that for all , if the families () are -cross -intersecting, then \begin{equation} \prod_{j=1}^r \vert \mathcal{A}_j \vert\leq \prod_{j=1}^r {n_j+l_j-t-1 \choose l_j-t-1}.\notag \end{equation} Moreover, equality holds if and only if there is a -set of such that for .
