Study of charmonium decays at BESIII

Abstract

Based on the data samples collected at the energies of $J/\ddot{I}ˆ$, $\ddot{I}ˆ(3686)$, $\ddot{I}ˆ(3770)$ and $\ddot{I}ˆ(4040)$ resonances with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring, we present charmonium decays in two aspects. One is the search for baryonic decays of $\ddot{I}ˆ(3770)$ and $\ddot{I}ˆ(4040)$, including $\hat{I}›\bar{\hat{I}}›\ddot{I}{€}^{+}\ddot{I}{€}^{-}$, $\hat{I}›\bar{\hat{I}}›\ddot{I}{€}^0$, $\hat{I}›\bar{\hat{I}}›\hat{I}\cdot$, $\hat{I}{\pounds }^{+}\bar{\hat{I}}{\pounds }^{-}$, $\hat{I}{\pounds }^0\bar{\hat{I}}{\pounds }^0$, $\hat{I}{ž}^{-}\bar{\hat{I}}{ž}^{+}$ and $\hat{I}{ž}^0\bar{\hat{I}}{ž}^0$. None are observed, and upper limits are set at the 90% confidence level. The other is the light hadron spectroscopy from charmonium radiative decays, including the spin-parity analysis of the $p\bar{p}$ mass-threshold enhancement in $J/\ddot{I}ˆ$ radiative decays and the $\hat{I}\cdot \hat{I}\cdot$ system in $J/\ddot{I}ˆ\to {\hat{I}}^3\hat{I}\cdot \hat{I}\cdot$ radiative decays.
