Examples of quasitoric manifolds as special unitary manifolds

Abstract

This note shows that for each $n\ge 5$ with only $n\ne 6$, there exists a $2n$-dimensional specially omnioriented quasitoric manifold $M^{2n}$ which represents a nonzero element in $\hat{I}{\text{c◯}}_{\ast }^U$. This provides the counterexamples of Buchstaber--Panov--Ray conjecture.
