New Conditions for Sparse Phase Retrieval

arXiv:1310.1351

Abstract

We consider the problem of sparse phase retrieval, where a -sparse signal is measured as where is a measurement matrix and is the element-wise absolute value. For a real signal and a real measurement matrix , we show that measurements are necessary and sufficient to recover uniquely. For complex signal and , we show that phaseless measurements are sufficient to recover . It is known that the multiplying constant in cannot be improved.
