Abstract

Recent results a future prospects of the NA62 experiment at CERN SPS are presented. The NA62 experiment performed the most precise measurement of the ratio $R_{K}$ of the $K^{+} \to e^{\pm} ν$ and K^+\rightarrow μ^\pmν $d ec a y r a t es u s in g t h e f u l l d a t a se t co l l ec t e d in 2007. T h er es u l t i s ina g r ee m e n tw i t h t h e S t an d a r d M o d e l e x p ec t a t i o n . T h e u l t r a - r a r e d ec a y$ K^+\rightarrowπ^+ν\barν $i s an e x ce l l e n tp r ocesses t o mak e t es t so f n e w p h y s i cs a tt h e hi g h es t sc a l eco m pl e m e n t a r y t o t h e L H C t hank s t o t h e i r t h eor e t i c a l l y c l e ann ess . T h e N A 62 e x p er im e n t a tC E R N S P S aim s t oco l l ec t o f t h eor d er o f 100$ K^+\rightarrowπ^+ν\barν$ events in two years of data taking, keeping the background at the level of 10%.
