Productivity of $[\mu ,\lambda ]$-compactness

Abstract

We show that if $μ\leq \cf λ$ and $\lambda$ is a strong limit singular cardinal, then $[\mu ,\lambda ]$-compactness is productive if and only if either $\mu =\omega$, or $\mu$ is $\lambda$-strongly compact.
