Abstract
BESIII is a new state-of-the-art 4 detector at the upgraded BEPCII two-ring $\ee$ collider at the Institute of High Energy Physics in Beijing, China. It has been in operation since 2008, and has collected the world's largest data samples of $\jpsi$, $\psip$ and decays, as well as mass scan and low energy points for measurement. These data are being used to make a variety of interesting and unique studies of light-hadron spectroscopy, precision charmonium physics, high-statistics measurements of meson decays, mass measurement and measurement. Results summarized in this report include observations of a subthreshold resonance in $\jp\toγp\bar{p}$, a large isospin-violation in $η(1405)\rt\piz\fzero$ decays, a near-threshold enhancement in $\jpsi\rtγωϕ$, and a M1 transition $\psip\rtγη_c(2S)$; the puzzle in $\jpsi$ and $\psip$ decays; some recent precision measurements of $\ec$ and $\hc$ lineshapes; and preliminary results of the meson (semi-)leptonic decays and the mass measurement.
