Theory of `hidden' quasi-1D superconductivity in SrRuO

arXiv:1208.6344

Abstract

Is the mechanism of unconventional superconductivity in SrRuO closer in spirit to superfluid He, or to the cuprates, pnictides, and organic superconductors? We challenge prevailing assumptions in this field and using well-controlled perturbative renormalization group calculations, we suggest that superconductivity in SrRuO resembles more closely the quasi-one dimensional organic superconductors. Our theory has certain phenomenological consequences that are consistent with the experimentally observed phenomena.
