Mini review on top quark production at the Tevatron

Abstract

We review the most recent results on top quark production at the Tevatron including the measurements of the top quark pair ($t\bar{t}$) production cross section, the forward-backward asymmetry, the spin correlations and the ratio of branching fractions. We also review the most recent results on the measurements on single top production cross-section and $|V_{tb}|$. Finally we will report on some recent searches for new physics in top quark production which were available at the time of the 2012 FPCP conference.
