On phase transition in the hard-core model on ${\mathbf{Z}}^d$

Abstract

It is shown that the hard-core model on ${\mathbf{Z}}^d$ exhibits a phase transition at activities above some function $\lambda (d)$ which tends to zero as $d\to \infty$
