Asymptotic analysis of nested derivatives

Abstract

We analyze the nested derivatives of a function ${\mathfrak{D}}^n[f](x)$ asymptotically, as $n\to \infty ,$ using a discrete version of the ray method. We give some examples showing the accuracy of our formulas.
