Decomposing the C*-algebras of groupoid extensions

Abstract
We decompose the full and reduced C*-algebras of an extension of a groupoid by the circle into a direct sum of twisted groupoid C*-algebras.
In previous version, Propositions 3.9 and 3.10 did not hold in stated generality (see Example 3.11). We fixed the statements of these propositions, shortened Lemma 3.8 and added Example 3.11. 14 pages AMS 2010 subject classification 46L55 46L05
