The $f_2$- and $\ddot{I}{}_3$-mesons in multi-channel pion-pion scattering

Abstract

In a multi-channel $S$-matrix approach, data on $\ddot{I}€\ddot{I}€\to \ddot{I}€\ddot{I}€,K\bar{K},\hat{I}\cdot \hat{I}\cdot$ in the $I^G{J}^{PC}=0^{+}{2}^{++}$ sector and $\ddot{I}€\ddot{I}€$ scattering in the $1^{+}{3}^{--}$ sector are analyzed to study the $f_2$- and $\ddot{I}{}_3$-mesons, respectively. Spectroscopic implications and possible classification of the $f_2$-states in terms of the SU(3) multiplets are also discussed.
