Second Eigenvalue of Paneitz Operators and Mean Curvature

Abstract

For $n\ge 7$, we give the optimal estimate for the second eigenvalue of Paneitz operators for compact $n$-dimensional submanifolds in an $(n+p)$-dimensional space form.
