Regularization for the supercritical quasi-geostrophic equation

Abstract

Motivated by the De Giorgi type argument used in a recent paper by Caffarelli and Vasseur, we prove Hölder-regularity for weak solutions of the supercritical quasi-geostrophic equation with minimal assumptions on the initial datum.
