Abstract
Let , be arbitrary integers. Define the numbers as the number of permutations of with inversions. Let and be arbitrary integers. Define {\em the polynomial coefficients} as the numbers of compositions of with at most parts, no one of which is greater than . In our article we give explicit formulas for the numbers and using the theory of Gröbner bases and free resolutions.
