Abstract

A characterization of algebraic cones in terms of actions of the one-dimensional multiplicative algebraic monoid ${\mathbf{M}}_{\mathrm{m}}$ and the algebraic group ${\mathbf{G}}_{\mathrm{m}}$ are given.
