Search for the decays $J/\ddot{I}ˆ\to {\hat{I}}^3\ddot{I}\ddot{I}•$ and $J/\ddot{I}ˆ\to {\hat{I}}^3\ddot{I}\ddot{I}‰$

Abstract

Using 58 million $J/\ddot{I}ˆ$ events collected with the Beijing Spectrometer (BESII) at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider, the decays $J/\ddot{I}ˆ\to {\hat{I}}^3\ddot{I}•\ddot{I}$ and $J/\ddot{I}ˆ\to {\hat{I}}^3\ddot{I}‰\ddot{I}$ are searched for, and upper limits on their branching fractions are reported at the 90% C. L. No clear structures are observed in the ${\hat{I}}^3\ddot{I}$, ${\hat{I}}^3\ddot{I}•$, or $\ddot{I}\ddot{I}•$ mass spectra for $J/\ddot{I}ˆ\to {\hat{I}}^3\ddot{I}•\ddot{I}$ nor in the ${\hat{I}}^3\ddot{I}$, ${\hat{I}}^3\ddot{I}‰$, or $\ddot{I}\ddot{I}‰$ mass spectra for $J/\ddot{I}ˆ\to {\hat{I}}^3\ddot{I}‰\ddot{I}$.
