E. J. McGrath, W. M. Goss, C. G. De Pree
Using the Very Large Array (VLA) of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in the A and B configurations, we have obtained simultaneous high resolution observations of both the 2…
ISO Observations of the 53W002 Group at 6.7 microns: In Search of the Oldest Stellar Populations at z=2.4
W. C. Keel, W. Wu, P. P. van der Werf +5
We present a deep ISO observation at 6.7 microns of the 53W002 group of galaxies and AGN at z=2.4. This approximately samples the emitted K band. The faint, blue star-forming objec…
An Observation of the Intermediate Polar XY Arietis with Chandra
A. Salinas, E. M. Schlegel
Chandra serendipitously observed the eclipsing (80 deg < i < 84 deg) intermediate polar, XY Arietis (=H0253+193), in two separate but continuous observations five weeks apart. XY A…
The Globular Cluster Systems of the Sculptor Group
K. A. G. Olsen, B. W. Miller, N. B. Suntzeff +2
We use CTIO 4-m Mosaic II images taken with the Washington and Harris filters to identify candidate globular clusters in the six major galaxies of the Sculptor group: NGC…
