On the nature of the compact star in 4U 1728-34
Xiang-Dong Li, Subharthi Ray, Jishnu Dey +2
The discovery of kilohertz quasi-periodic oscillations (kHz QPOs) in low-mass X-ray binaries (LMXBs) with the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer has stimulated extensive studies of these…
Decoupling of Massive Right-handed Neutrinos
Paramita Adhya, D. Rai Chaudhuri
We investigate the effect of B+L - violating anomalous generation of massive right-handed neutrinos on their decoupling, when the right-handed neutrino mass is considerably greater…
Magnetic Moment of the in QCD sumrule (QCDSR)
Jishnu Dey, Mira Dey, Ashik Iqubal
The magnetic moment was measured very accurately and experimentalists remarked that it differs from the theoretical estimates, thus posing a challenge to the latter. One such…
Is SAX J1808.4-3658 a Strange Star ?
X. -D. Li, I. Bombaci, Mira Dey +2
One of the most important questions in the study of compact objects is the nature of pulsars, including whether they are composed of -stable nuclear matter or strange quark matt…
