Correlations between H Equivalent Width and Galaxy Properties at : Physical or Selection-driven?
Ali Ahmad Khostovan, Sangeeta Malhotra, James E. Rhoads +13
The H equivalent width (EW) is an observational proxy for specific star formation rate (sSFR) and a tracer of episodic star-formation activity. Previous assessments show that EW…
A comprehensive study of H emitters at 0.62 in the DAWN survey: the need for deep and wide regions
Santosh Harish, Alicia Coughlin, James E. Rhoads +19
We present new estimates of the luminosity function (LF) and star formation rate density (SFRD) for an H selected sample at from the Deep And Wide Narrow-band (DAWN)…
A large, deep 3 deg survey of H, [OIII], and [OII] emitters from LAGER: constraining luminosity functions
Ali Ahmad Khostovan, Sangeeta Malhotra, James E. Rhoads +14
We present our measurements of the H, [OIII], and [OII] luminosity functions as part of the Lyman Alpha Galaxies at Epoch of Reionization (LAGER) survey using our samples of 157…
Onset of Cosmic Reionization: Evidence of An Ionized Bubble Merely 680 Myrs after the Big Bang
V. Tilvi, S. Malhotra, J. E. Rhoads +14
While most of the inter-galactic medium (IGM) today is permeated by ionized hydrogen, it was largely filled with neutral hydrogen for the first 700 million years after the Big Bang…
