Abstract

In this paper, we give a complete picture of Howe correspondence for the setting (), where is an orthogonal group (real or complex), is the two-fold Pin-covering of , and is the spinorial representation of . More precisely, for a dual pair () in , we determine explicitly the nature of its preimages in , and prove that apart from some exceptions, is always a dual pair in ; then we establish the Howe correspondence for with respect to .
